Polish Ambassador discuss matters of mutual interest with Senator Shahzad Waseem

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Poland Maciej Pisarski called on the Leader of the House in Senate, Senator Dr. Shahzad Wasim at his residence.  During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including the overall situation of the region and situation in Afghanistan in particular were discussed in detail. Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem congratulated the Ambassador of Poland on assuming diplomatic responsibilities in Pakistan and said that Pakistan values its relationship with Poland which is based on mutual trust. He said that there was a need to make the political, diplomatic and parliamentary relations more active and there was ample scope for increasing the trade volume. The Polish Ambassador, agreeing with the Dr. Shahzad’s views said that Pakistan and Poland are good friends and both the countries are further enhancing their economic cooperation.
